About the Boys & Girls Home of North Carolina

Jaycee Cottage

Currently there are millions of people living in poverty and there are thousands of children running away from home each year, and the Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina provides a safe, family home environment through residential and foster care/adoption programs for those children who are neglected, abused and hurting from across the State.

The Jaycee cottage has been closed due to renovations and we are excited to announce that the cottage will re-open in late February, early March for four high schools girls (ages 16-18) in the Preparation for Independent Living Program. In an effort to do our part, the Raleigh Jaycees will be hosting the Gala for Hope to raise funds for the organization and in particular for the girls and their needs in the Jaycee cottage. We are looking for partners to assist us and we know that for this event to be successful we must rely on the community at-large to help us in this endeavor.
